About this product
Charge compatible computers with this Apple 85-watt MagSafe power adapter.
The 85 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter is designed for 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models. Its key features include a magnetic DC connector, which ensures that your power cable disconnects if it experiences undue strain, preventing fraying or weakening over time. The magnetic DC also guides the plug into the system for a quick and secure connection. An LED indicator at the head of the connector lights up: amber when your portable is charging, and green when you have a full charge. The adapter comes with an AC cord for maximum length and an AC wall adapter for convenient travel. Its clever design allows the DC cable to be neatly wound around itself for easy storage. Additionally, this power adapter can recharge the lithium polymer battery whether the system is on, off, or in sleep mode, and it can even power the system without a battery.
