About this product
Tripp Lite media converter extends your copper Gigabit Ethernet network connection up to 1804 ft. over LC fiber optic cable with the addition of PoE. Because Cat5e/6 cables are limited to only 100 meters, it is more effective to couple the N785-P01-LC-MM1 with multimode fiber cable to reach greater distances. This could include providing both data and power to PoE and PoE+ devices, such as security cameras, VoIP telephones, point-of-sale kiosks and access control devices.

- Extends power (48VDC) and data (1Gbps) to any edge PoE+ device
- Supports multimode fiber optic cable with LC connectors up to 1804'
- RJ45 jack supports auto-MDI/MDIZ to bridge various network devices
- Supports both full- and half-duplex operation
- Works in tandem with Tripp Lite N785-001-LC-MM (sold separately)
- Compact metal converter is easy to install and set up with no software or drivers required
- Included power supply connects to AC outlets with no computer or other signal source needed
- Package includes: media converter, external power supply with 3.6' cord and NEMA 5-15P plug (input: 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 1.5A; output: 48V, 1.25A), and owner's manual
