All of the external battery packs are a must for any compatible APC UPS Rackmount or Tower Unit including this large capacity 192V Rackmount version. Good addition
Used extra battery packs for a few applications and it provided the extra run time required to power down sensitive applications. Suggest you work with your APC partner to determine the best option(s) for you.

Your Best Choice for Use with (smaller) SRT UPSes!
This is the best choice for use with the newer SRT (6kVA or less) model UPSes, which replace the older SURT range of UPSes (and SURT192RMXLBP battery pack). However, I believe the difference is purely cosmetic, with face panels styled to match the newer SRT UPSes. Of course, these battery packs can be daisy chained to enable very lengthy run times.
