ordered on a Friday received on Wednesday. plugged it in inserted drive plugged in usb cable turned power on and it was recognized immediately and showed content of the hard drive. i had previously purchased a different brand (Sabrent) that didn't work (off another website--not Staples). Docking station for SATA drives
I purchased this docking station to be able to check for files on Sata drives for recovery It has worked well for me and I like the fact that I do not have to shut down Install the drive I wish to Check and reboot. It is convienient time saving tool for me.

Startech SATDOCKU3S USB 3.0 to SATA Hard Drive Docking Station For 2 1/2"/3 1/2" Hard Drive.
It was very good. The website was easy to navigate the ordering was simple and straightforward.
