Definitely buy
Easy to set up. Everything worked on the first try. Just had to adjust screens once on. I have wireless mouse and keyboard plugged into (USB) the dock too. No issues there. I run two configurations, both with two external monitors. I sometimes use the laptop(HP Spectre) for a third display or I keep the laptop closed and just use the two external monitors.

Constantly Disconnects
Like every dock, this one also frequently disconnects and leaves you in a state of limbo where you must fully restart your laptop to get your monitors to work again.

HP USB-C Dock G5 Review
The HP USB-C Dock G5 is amazing. I'm able to plug all my accessories (2 external drives, 1 exterior monitor, my ethernet cable, and my iPhone) to support my HP laptop computer. Makes working on my laptop a breeze. I would definitely recommend this Dock.

Great docking station for my Zbook
Easy to use docking station. One cable connect to my Zbook laptop. Would like to see a couple more USB ports.

Acceptable docking station
I bought this docking because the All-in-one computer we bought did not have a lot of external ports. I was surprised that it did not charge the computer, so you need to plug it. I wish it had a memory card slot.

HP USB-C Dock Issues
Had several problems with the Docking unit, I believe mostly related to firmware and version support. There is limited documentation or setup instructions and therefore lots of trial and error was needed to get it operational - it was not plug and play. Great Docking Station!
Love this docking station. Works perfect with my HP laptop and there are plenty of ports for all the monitors and peripherals that I want.

maybe laptop was a nogo also but sales person said it would work with any HP laptop with C port that

HP Docking station for my HP laptop
I bought the HP docking station so that I could connect a company laptop to two 4K curved monitors and a keyboard and mouse plugged into an 4K KVM switch box and it works perfectly.

Works great!
The dock has worked well since I got it. I use two monitors, a wired keyboard & mouse, and a scanner. The only issue has been it doesn't power my laptop so I have to plug the laptop and the dock into outlets at the same time.

Overall great
Convenient, sleek, compact and well-equipped with ports, the HP USB-C Dock G5 is a great dock for port-poor laptops and multi-device desk setups for any professional. It's not the cheapest dock out there, but still more affordable than some similarly decked docks, so will be a good pro option for both PC and Mac users.

Good compact docking station!
The USB C Dock G5 has been very effective in supporting my connection of 2 monitors plus my laptop. It does not take up an inordinate amount of desk space. Very pleased after 1 month of use. Using with an HP Elitebook 745 G6 and 2 24" monitors.

Dock G5 for business
I decided to pay extra for the business dock since it said it had additional security with it. When opening the box, there is nothing in to mention what the security is or how it works. So for me, I paid for something I did not get.
