Perfect application for powering AC devices
This is a great piece of equipment any appliances that do not have an internal battery backup.
For example, the AC goes out and you are on a treadmill. It just stops and you go flying.
This product will give you 15 minutes of time to slow and stop. Wonderful.

Just wait until the warranty expires!
Most of the management features go away after the warranty expires.
APC's website is so bad you can't find an extended warranty for the unit.

Perfect application for powering AC devices

One of the most popular and stable UPS's
have sold many of these units and use one personally due to the large readout, extended time and online!!! can see what is all going on and has saved me a few times due to flickering and even during an outtage

A Great Unit for Smaller Offices or Smaller IDFs
A solid performer in terms of performance vs cost. Great for tight places that do not have actual racks installed but still need power protection to ensure uptime. 8 Standard outlets should provide plenty of room. The LCD screen in the front provides great info on what's going on and changing the battery is simple.

Quality product needing better management software
This is a solid product with the dozen or so that our company has deployed in the field.
My only suggestion is a complete revamp of the management software which is dated.

Solid Reliable Feature Rich 1000VA UPS
APC Products are always solid reliable and feature rich and also look GREAT in your IT environment. This one has a 1000VA capacity for those with smaller loads in their rack. The LCD readout looks super snazzy and is very easy to read. Comes with the new SmartConnect remote monitoring software. Definitely recommended!
