easy to mount and dismount as they are on my cabin
Awesome sound reproduction as is all the bose products I own. I run a 20wpc Lars & Ivan hybrid tube amp on them...what a combination!

Terrible connection to spotify
I bought 2 outdoor speakers and the amplifier for over $1,000 and it works terribly. It worked for a month and suddenly when i select music via Spotify through the SoundTouch app it will not connect to Spotify (which works fine). Bose has no solution to this. I do not recommend buying these.

Very happy buyer
Very solidly made, very good sounding, easy to install. The best part of the sound is that you can hear both speakers from anywhere in the backyard. Our old outdoor speakers were too directional. Good bass on these, too.

Great Bose Sound Outdoors!
I bought these new 251’s to replace my 20 year old 151’s that eventually succumbed to the elements in my backyard. These new 251 speakers are noticeably larger and sound much better than my old 151’s, with crisper highs, rich bass and much wider sound field. Exactly what I needed for my yard
These speakers are awesome. They are very loud very clear crisp the base sounds great. It actually feels like I’m at a concert. I have them in my backyard one towards my pool the other tour, my patio and you can hear the music everywhere.

Amazing
Bose 251 lives up to its reputation. Good ol’ wired speakers that produce that AMAZING sound that Bose is known for. I have used these for my indoor fitness studio and they are more than enough. If you are in the market for outdoor speakers these are the ones, don’t hesitate!

Great speakers
I bought these speakers around 1995 and they still sound great. I have had them outside since the beginning. Still look brand new when I wipe them down occasionally. Definitely would recommend.

I expected more.
A little over a year ago I had my home theatre installation guy install these in the back patio. (In Phoenix. Yes, it gets HOT.) There are two issues I have. BOSE 251: Great Outdoor Speakers
I had an old set of outdoor speakers that I thought sounded great until I installed the BOSE 251s. The old outdoor speakers used to be powered by my old receiver/amplifier, but I replaced the receiver with the BOSE Soundtouch SA-5 Amplifier, and the 251s were the next logical upgrade. I’ve had these for 20 years!
These speaker’s have been hanging on my patio wall for 20 years and the still work. Kind of wondering why Bose hasn’t updated a product in 20 years

Perfect
Bought these in the summer 2014 and they're still going strong. Best sounding speakers I've ever had, the clarity is amazing, the sound is amazing, connect a sub to compliment then even more and you'll really enjoy them. No complaints from me. I even had one issue with the built in woofer and the bose team fixed it no problem with no hassle. Highly recommend

Best Speakers Ever!!!
We live in Louisiana where the weather is always damp. We bought our first two in 2001 and the second set in 2011, they are Wonderful and Sound Great. We enjoy our backyard with a Great Sound System! Thank you Bose

Bose 251s are who we thought they were.
I've had these for about two months. They replaced a pair of Cambridge Soundworks outdoor speakers. The sound field is wider, the bass is better, they are good...solidly good. Awesome
I purchased these 15 years ago and despite the Kentucky weather, they still perform perfectly. I love them and just bought a second set for my large patio. Thank you Bose!!

Outstanding quality
Purchased 15 years ago and installed outside, one to the garage and the other to 4 story pine tree. We live outside Chicago, IL and the speakers have never moved from the initial location. They weather all elements as designed and still work with the level expected from Bose

For the price I expected more!
I bought these just over a year ago and have been trying to replace them ever since. The sound is disapponiting and these really lack any type of bass. I have a Marantz mm7055 amp pushing them so power isnt an issue. I think the speakers are good, but over priced.
