Great product, improved speeds immediately
Very plug and play, just download the software and it’ll improve wifi speeds noticeably

Eh
when it works, it’s great. it’s not a great solution for if your trying to game with others in the house as wi-fi itself isn’t great, also it doesn’t like to automatically turn on when it’s plugged in and i have to re plug it every time which gets annoying

HAPPY about this NETGEAR adapter
I have a 500 Gigs of network speed that I pay $150 a month for and Norton 360 throttled me to less than 100 G's and with Windows together they throttled me to 33 G's. With this Adapter I'm consistently higher than 440 G's and Windows Network Profile is not taking over my network bandwidth. This makes me very HAPPY

Great wifi adapter
My old wifi adapter kept failing while I was online and always had a weak signal, but this wifi asapter paired with my new netgear router keeps me connected constantly with no interruptions

Good review.
Easily recognized as connected by both motherboard and Windows 11. Primary connection is through a Virizon 5G cellular hotspot.

Excellent Connections
My other adapters were having issues with latency and staying connected to the router for more than a day or two. This unit has been connected to the network for over a week now with zero issues and excellent latency/performance.

Meh....
Not much faster the Intel Proset adapter on dektop PC connecting with Comcast xb8 router 6e that's 8 feet away.

2 Happy Netgear cutomers for the price of 1
Blazing speeds, wow! I got it for my son (he's a gamer). I had a selfish reason for that. I wanted his AC1200 WIFI USB ADAPTER for my old dell laptop. I couldn't find one anywhere
local and so I turned off my internal wifi and just plugged it into my USB 3.0 slot and I do not
worry about losing my internet connection and It works equally fast for me also. Hooray ...

WiFi Extender
Easy to install (10-15 minutes) depending on outside distractions. The nighthawk adapter (A8000) works very well with my laptop. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Works outside
I initially got this because the wifi card in my laptop stopped working and I wanted to try this before more costly options. But this ended up being way better because now I can get a strong wifi signal on our back porch and now I can work efficiently outside! It also picks up signal at the arboretum by me so I can work there too :) LOVE!

Works well!
I'm very pleased with this WiFi adapter. My previous WiFi adapter would frequently drop the WiFi connection but I haven't had any issues with this one.

Works great with StarLink
Increased my speed 4 times faster compared to my old TP Link adapter. I have StarLink so I really get good speeds now.

Great adapter, works on linux too (read review for how)
This adapter will be 100% supported on of the box starting with linux kernel 6.4 I believe. However if you have a fairly recent 6.x kernel it will work as long as you execute the 2 following commands after each reboot:
1) modprobe mt7921u
2) echo 0846 9060 > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/mt7921u/new_id
It works great for me on both my fedora distribution PC and my raspberry 4...

Receives signal a long way
Works great. I have to wi-fi a signal about 35 yards to another building. My last Adapter did not work on the new computer I had bought, so I gave this one a try. Works great!

Upgrade But Not Really an Upgrade
I bought the A8000 to replace my A7000. I deleted the driver for my A7000 and downloaded the driver for the A8000. I ran several speed tests and found the A8000 to be slower than my A7000. I re-boxed the A8000 and it is decorating my shelf while I have reverted to the use of my A7000. Not sure why the upgraded unit is slower, but the speed test numbers speak for the...

Great Speed Improver for Desktop Computer
Excellent adapter. Boosted the speed of my internet connection by 200 Mbps. The external antenna takes advantage of better line of sight to the router than the internal antenna in the desktop on the floor.
