Defective Motor
Never worked. We opened it out of the packaging today although it was bought a few years ago. Already says "tape jam". The motor doesn't seem to turn. Waste of money.

An Octogenarian is able to get Organized
Easy to use and I love being able to label boxes etc. as I fill them. Otherwise it is easy to forget what is in each one. No cords to worry about and no need to hook into the computer!

Happy so far
Purchased this on sale as I have limited use for a label maker, and didn't want to spend a lot. So far have tried it out only a few times. The size, shape and weight make it comfortable to hold; easy to use; works well. Have held back 1 star as I haven't tried many of the functions yet, so can't give a more detailed review at this point.

I looked at the comparison chart and choose this one because it said external or battery powered. I wanted one that I could use a plug with at work and not have to worry about replacing dead batteries.

Great Labellers, but incorrect info here.
I bought my second labeller as the first one broke after 18 years use. The cutter broke, but it still printed, just needed scissors to cut a label.

Sweet little machine
I'm giving the machine itself 5 stars. However the instruction booklet is bare minimum at getting you started & doesn't explain the functions of the symbols on the machine. Decent Label Maker
This label maker isn't too bad. There are better ones out there but this one is good for the price. We had one of these in our office for several years and it eventually kept showing a tape jam error message that wouldn't go away (despite deep cleaning). I ended up ordering another of the same kind mainly due to the price.

it works once or twiice.
it worked twice, got put in a drawer , no longer powers on after a year, tried 3 sets of batteries all known to be good. disassembled to determine power is present at the switch, no life from the unit beyond.
