Not very durable.
The very first one I took out of the box had to be taped because it tore apart when I stretched it open to put documents in it.

They stand up to a lot of use when pulled open and pulled wider to put papers and manila folders inside. I AM cautious and try not to abuse!

Excellent for Archiving
We use these to file charts that have been dismantled. The sturdiness is amazing and the expandability is very useful as we have charts that range from 1inch to 7 inches in depth. If we need more space, we just add another folder and label it 1 of 2 and 2 of 2.

7" Expanding File Pocket
When I need to file a large amount of documents, this is the product to get. It holds up well. The only issue is that this 7" size is not carried in the retail store.

Essential for our filing needs
We store our job files in these expanding file pockets.
Each job will have several folders, and often they're quite thick by the end of the job.
We tried 5" expanding folders before, but decided to stick with the 7".
These pocket folders keep the files tidy and easily accessible.
