We LOVE ā¤ļø Learning Resources Products!
I purchased this for my 3 year old granddaughter and honestly wanted to put it together myself also! We love it as a family! It wouldn't fit in my refrigerator and it didn't work well wth the paper outline laying on table so I got creative!!! I purchased a magnetic dry erase board the same size and used modge podge (glue) and glued the outline to the board and smoothed ...

Great Educational Toy
The Learning Resources magnetic U S Map Puzzle is everything I had hoped it would be. Its sturdy materials allow small hands to manipulate and develop find motor and problem skills, while learning names and locations of states.

Educational, Fun & Functional
This is an awesome map! The pieces are thick foam/magnet/paper overlay, have a strong enough magnetic force to hold onto a vertical board (through cardstock paper too), and are safe enough size wise for my 2yr old to play with (not particularly worried about a choking hazard). It comes with a "puzzle piece map" of the US so kids can put the states in the correct locatio...

Loved it.
I loved the concept of magnetic maps and had been looking at them for a long time. Finally I bought it as a gift for my friend's daughter. Hope she loved it. U even need to make world maps in magnetic as kids love to play with them. They have fun arranging them on the refrigerator.

I would definitely recommend this product for a classroom.
This magnetic puzzle is available for my students during all free times, and they really crowd around it to put the pieces together. The pieces are colorful and durable. The kids have contests to see how many pieces they can put together in certain time frames. They are really starting to recognize the states by their shapes and their locations in the U.S. A. This produ...

We really enjoyed doing this puzzle together
My son learned so much about the states doing this puzzle. We liked the map printout included that lists the capitals of each state but not the state name, this is helping him to learn the capitals. We used a metal cookie sheet for the magnetic puzzle as we did this a many times on the couch instead of in front of the fridge, LOL, it worked great. He is learning to read...

Fun way to learn US geography
I love the idea of a magnetic map! The magnets are really strong, and kids seem to enjoy putting the map together. If you're using this at home, it might take up the majority of the side of your fridge.
Cons: The pieces aren't that durable. One puzzle piece already bent, but it doesn't take away from the ability to use it.
Suggestion: I wish the pieces would snap toge...

My 5 y/o daughter loved putting together this map!
This toy was great for my 5 y/o daughter. She enjoyed matching the states to the outline key. It was a good educational opportunity to ask her which states she knew and which one we live in. She will play w/it until the puzzle is complete. I do wish the outline of the map was magnetized.

U.S. Map
I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. The students enjoyed putting the puzzle together during our educational activity. The images on each state were helpful for some students when they were recalling facts. I found it so helpful that this product included an outline of the United States with the capitals included. The magnetic pieces are ea...

Good intro to US geography
My 6yo boys were eager to work on this puzzle map. Since they're learning how to read, as they put the map together we worked on trying to sound out the state names on each piece. Once they were done it was fun to point out various states that we've traveled to, where relatives live, major landmarks, etc. After the boys assembled the puzzle, they took it apart and moved...

Awesome puzzle
This is a great product. I love the size of the pieces. I began working with a small group of students to show them the new class puzzle and they immediately took over. It was amazing. They were reading the states, talking about what they knew about state. I was so surprised that my first graders were reading and show interest in learning the states and their capitals w...

Very nice puzzle
My students love putting this puzzle together. I like that not only does the box have the map on the front for them to look at and follow, but there is a paper outline that they can put on the floor and fit the pieces into. After they put it together they love to read the state names and talk about the states. Very nice for 1st graders. The pieces are big and durable. I...
