We understand how frustrating this can be, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Please know that we will share your feedback with the appropriate internal teams. To help maximize your air purifier’s performance and extend filter life, Shark recommends keeping the unit in AUTO mode. Once 100% clean air is maintained for 10 minutes in AUTO mode, the purifier will automatically enter ECO mode to further optimize filter efficiency and longevity. Additionally, to help extend the life of the HEPA filter, we recommend reorienting it every three months. Simply remove the HEPA filter, turn it upside down, and reinsert it so the side that was previously on top is now on the bottom. This helps evenly distribute captured particles throughout the filter and supports longer‑lasting performance.
