Asus is my favorite.
I bought the I3 version in 2021 and it is still going. I bought the I3 version again in 2026. I have an Asus wifi 6 ax1800 router. My wife and I have no problems. The microsoft secure boot certs updated automatically for both.

defective from day 1
worst computer i ever owned, mouse pad does not work, corrupt software, called tech support 4 times, told me to clear out the history, took the computrer back to staples, i worked with the store, they are going to replace it

Just Right!
This Laptop was JUST what I was looking for. Reasonably priced, i5 CPU, up-gradable memory and storage, backlit keyboard. Only Windows 11 Home, not Pro, but I overwrote it with Linux Mint.

horrible laptop
sometimes the mic works; mostly it does not work. Bought 6 months ago and there is a return policy of 14 days; so I am out of a lot of money with a useless laptop. Now the machine (whether on or off) emits a banshee sound that hurts the ears. Do not buy from Asus.

I couldn't get this computer to do what I wanted it to. I tried downloading five programs but was successfull with only one. It seems as though Microsoft's operating system hasn't kept pace with the rest of the industry.

Staples was easy to work with on this, I purchased Asus and it was defected. The port for the earbuds did not work as the volume did not work either. There was no issues with a return and providing me with a new computer. I was glad the return policy within the time frame was easily handled by the Store Manager

Disapointed
My new laptop from Staples will not install windows updates. Repeated attempts result in "Updates failed". A complete waste of money. Do not buy this product.
