Major design flaw
I really want to like the XL version of this chair. The seat is comfortable, it's build seems to be good and sturdy. However I have two major issues with the design. The first is this chair is actually too tall for most people. I am a pretty tall guy and at the lowest setting it is just perfect for me. Front seat support is too hard
Front seat plastic edge cuts off circulation when seated. Head rest is too far forward and does not adjust enough. Back support pushes the head rest too far forward and does not recline well.

Great for Tall People
This chair is great for tall people. I can sit for hours and not have my glutes or my back hurt. Just an overall solid chair.

Almost perfect, but not quite there
The chair seat is comfortable and padded, but the back is super angled like a recliner. offers no support if you're sitting straight up.

broke first use
the lever to adjust tilt broke on the very first use. pulled lever to tilt back, and was unable to tilt chair back up to upright position. mechanism for the lever is cheap and super flimsy. had to send it back.

Not impressed
The lumbar support is not sufficiently adjustable. It is uncomfortable.
The manufacturer recommends either the XL or Pro variants for people taller than 6'. The XL has the larger range of height adjustment. But I'm 6'3" and the headrest is a neck rest at its highest position. Why the strange swinging adjustment rather than a simple sliding height adjustment?

Comfortable and supportive to sit on. But the recliner is a problem, the minimum recline setting before it will lock is too reclined. You cannot have just a little.

Flimsy but Not Too Bad
I had this chair for about a month and a half and was a little disappointed in it for the price. The back is a little flimsy, it's heavier than I thought (feels heavier than 30lbs) and assembly was a bit tough with just 1 person.

Hyken Pro is the Way to Go
Hyken Pro addresses just about every issue I have with the standard Hyken. The standard Hyken's mesh seat quickly cuts off leg circulation with the foam front insert, but lacks support if you take it out. Also can't sit cross-legged due to the plastic frame on the sides. This is all COMPLETELY SOLVED with the Hyken Pro's full cushion seat.
