Cant write on them
These things have some sort of coating on them that makes it impossible to write on them in ink (gel or otherwise). For tagging a document, I guess they are ok, even though they are big, but don't waste your time buying them if you need a pop up sticky note that needs to be written on. Very frustrating

The note pads do not provide a good writing surface. Something wrong with the paper finish

Ink does not adhere front of note - ballpoint or gel pens. Front of paper surface too slick. Not ultra sticky either... very poor product

Pretty colors BUT Don't Purchase
Great colors to these pop ups but so many issues! They never come out one at a time so it kind of negates the reason for a pop up. Also, when you write on them the ink doesn't always show up. I tried this with many different kinds of pens, and they all had the same problem.

Too much adhesive
There is too much adhesive on each page so that when you try to remove one--even from a dispenser!--you get three. The pages also don't lie flat.

Bad Quality
Try to pull out one and 5 or so come out. My Uniball pen can't seem to write on the sticky note

not good
This is not a good product, when you put them in a dispensor and try to pull 1 post-it out, 2 or 3 come with it, EVERY TIME.

Why do two come out
Terrible stickies. Two always come out when pulling them out. Thought it was the dispenser but it is just the stickies themselves. Take note, Staples, there's plenty of others complaining of this exact issue

Two sheets always come out. Thought it was my dispenser but I changed to PostIt ones and it's fine.

Will not buy again
As far as pop-up note pads go these are probably the worst I've used. They all stick together so when you pull one out you get an accordion and have to use 2 hands to separate them and are left with multiple notes hanging out of the dispenser. And they are difficult to write on with a pen...having to go over your note sometimes twice. I'll never order these again...

cant write on
cant write on with regular pen only fine sharpie marker. it constantly skips and sometimes the ink doesnt show at all. also does not come out of the dispenser for pop up notes easy. pulled 5 out because they dont come apart.

These sticky notes are hard to write on (tore a couple trying to make the ink show) and do not come out of the dispenser just one. They also come out crumpled.
