Good product!
I read carefully lots of reviews before buying it. I was a bit reluctant about the connectivity issue many reported. I gave it a go... Yes it depends on which USB port one plugs it, there can potentially be an issue... I plugged on another one, and it's going smoothly so far!

Poor quality
Besides it being extremely noisy, if you had a darker photo, the reproduction was not at all clear and made almost completely black

Good scanner that really needs a USB-C 3.0 update
This is such a simple design that works fairly well, but it's hindered by speed because the connection is only USB 2.0; it sorely needs an upgrade to USB 3.2 and USB-C ports (Epson if you're listening, I'll upgrade if you do this!). Worthless if it can't connect
I tried to use this on multiple computers and had trouble with each one. It ended up being useless and I didn't realize it was only a 14 day return. I tried to return it at 19 days and can't. What a waste! DO NOT BUY this.

Horrible user manual!
This scanner works just fine if you can figure out how to use it. The user manual combines several models in one manual, and isn't clear at all. I wasted a lot of time just figuring out the nuances of how the V19 II works, how one saves a document or photo, etc.

Outgoing port tends to bend out of shape
I have used 2 of these over the last 10 years. Works great, images are fine, text also. The drawback is the USB connection port. It tends to wear and expand, making the connectivity difficult at times. Otherwise, it would have been a 5-star or its category.

Nice scanner.
I bought a similar scanner by Cannon but the program kept erroring and shutting down even after contacting Cannon support and reloading the program three times. I gave up returned it and bought the Epson scanner. It operates perfectly with my Windows 11 laptop. It a nice easy to use scanner.

Does not turn on
Scanner worked great...but now does not connect. 2 laptops and 2 desktops are a no go (and it was previous used on 1 of the laptops). Guess back to my old HP combo as scanning has really not gotten better in this price point in the last 10+ years.

Excellent Epson Scanner
I have only used the scanner once or twice so far. However it is cheap easy to install download driver and gives nice document and photo prints. Output is as a .pdf file which simplifies everything.....Also there is only one cable connection to my laptop as power is also transmitted via the USB cable.

Quick and Efficient
It is quick and convenient. We use it to capture financial documents and other forms as well as digitizing photos. All you lose from the 39 is "advanced photo stitching" and that isn't really a need.
