Third HP Slim purchased!
-Now the proud owner of 3 HP Slims. I use them as Home Theater PC's. A wonderful fit to my Audio Video needs at a fair price. Great power and performance for my needs in a slim design which blends perfectly in my room decor when placed sideways. Each PC is fitted with first rate components, i.e. 80 gold power supply, named NVME PCIE SSD and so forth.

No Quality Control, mediocre performance
The overall performance is mediocre at best relative to specs. The internal wifi is so weak that it doesn't even pick my home network; had to be hooked up to ethernet for getting online. Not to mention lagging and weird sounds that come out from the unit. I like hp but this is the second time I got disappointed by the lack of quality control before releasing the product...

Sent a used PC as new. Never again!
Have had noting but issues with this PC since taking it out of the box. I believe that they sent me a used/reconditioned PC as some of the screws show wear and the DVD drive cover was missing (no drive ordered). Nice and fast system!
With the SSD drive, this system is quite fast. I removed MS Office and installed my version. I was surprised how fast it opened Word, Excel and others. They just popped onto the screen. Very nice! Overall, it was very fast to use. I am very happy with this system. The only issue, which is minor, is that it could use a larger SSD drive. Overall rating is great!

hp Slim is a great compact home office PC.
The Slim PC is compact, quiet and is fast and adequate to handle my home office requirements. The only critical comment is the PC did not include a DVD R/W device, requiring me to pay for one additionally to the cost of the PC. I do recommend the Slim for small home office users.

Happy with my choice

Small but does everything I need it to do.
My HP slim desktop was, in large part because of its light weight and relatively small size, very easy to unpackage and set up. It does everything I need it to do in a package that doesn't take up a lot of room.
