Keypad Awful, Color Quality Marginal
Set up was relatively easy. Filling the ink tanks was a breeze and it seems to use little ink in printing. Unfortunately, the keypad on this is nearly impossible to use. When faxing or entering an email to scan, the touch pad has an odd setup for the numbers and letters keys only come up 3 at a time (example [A] [B] [C]). Buy this printer, you will be pleased
I just got the printer set up yesterday. I took my time and the printer is a charm. It is fast at the print jobs and we were able to set up to print from Laptop; Tablet; and phones.So far very pleased. The only complaint so far is the timeout isn't working yet for sleep or shutdown. And printer nice looking too so nice to have a pleasant two tone unit.

Ink Great, Other Features Not So Much
Can't remove the Paper Tray and I dislike that so much I wouldn't buy again. Raising the lid and having it fall is stupid. If you lift up on the lid at that max point it will stay but if you put it down without lifting on the lid, it never works right again. Another reason I wouldn't buy again. Didn't work right out of the box
Have to give it 1 star since it didn't work right out of the box and had to be returned. After an hour with HP support they said "you're right its broken".

It works, has issues & not built for high volume
The Smart Tank concept is cool. Easier to work with than cartridges in that there are fewer stops for large jobs. However, printing in the economy mode, while it prints faster, leaves very obvious lines on full color sheets. Also, it's really not very fast. I regularly print 600 color sheets, a task that takes this printer more than one hour (in economy mode). But what ...

Pros: It prints well.
Cons: The electrical cord where joined to the printer won’t stay in. The connection is ridiculously loose. I have pieces of folded cardboard above and below the actual plug going into the printer to keep the cord in place. If I bump into the printer too hard, the cord will fall out.

Very slow in downloading from computer, internet. Too many steps to make a copy, especially if reducing or enlarging. Print quality is very good. HP chat line was impossible.

Set up was fairly quick and easy.
Good instructions. Very pleased at how quickly and easily I was able to get it set up to do what I'm accustomed to. Connected to wi-fi, printing from various screens on my laptop, printing from my cellphone. Looking forward to setting up fax.
