My New "Go-To" Choice for Home Office Printing
Using it to replace my HP OfficeJet 8000e series. Canon's quality and reliability FAR exceeds HP's. My one issue is that I wish this printer had a paper tray that could hold an entire ream of paper (500 sheets), but the 200 it does hold is acceptable.

Worst printer ever purchased
Worst printer I have ever bought. Too bad I didn’t start using it right away and now it’s too late to return. Issues with connection. Issues with paper feeder. You have to keep the front open to print. Horrible printer. Save the frustration and money and get a different one.

Not Bad
This replaced an earlier version that stopped working after six years. The wireless connection seems a bit more robust, and it reacts to print requests a bit faster.
Despite there being two black ink cartridges, it still requires both black cartridges to have ink before it will print, which can be a bother.

Replacement
Excellent replacement printer. I like the automated double-sided printing and the individual ink cartridges. I like the three different ways to add paper especially the tray where I can keep the paper. The on and off button is a little confusing; push it and it comes right on but to turn it off, I have to hold the button down for a few seconds.

Replacing my PIXMA MX922
My 8 year old MX922 finally gave out and I wanted to replace it with a Canon printer with all the same features - wireless, 4 functions, double-sided printing and double-sided scanning, so Canon recommended the TR9620a. The customer service rep said that Canon has an upgrade program, so I got a discount on the new printer. I love it, although I haven't been able to figu...

A very good replacement for my older Canon TR7000
Not Compact But Quite Capable. It replaced a dead Canon TR7000 series printer which does not copy or scan, therefore smaller. Like the TR7000 series, it is quite forgiving if you choose to use non-OEM Canon inks, don't expect accurate colors or contrast to match Canon's inks though but the OEM inks are pricey for general non-critical use. Cannot say how archival Canon i...

Easy set up, Pixma.
Easy to set up. Multiple functions make this a nice home/small office printer. The only downside is the price of ink.

Excellent Scanner/Printer with all needed features
I've always been a fan of Canon Printers. This 8620a is an excellent scanner/printer with all of the basic functions one needs. It is exceptionally easy to setup and utilize. It's great that you can print from anywhere in the house on any phone or computer. The colored prints are very good and the 280 281 inkjet cartridges are plentiful and inexpensive particularly if y...

Bells and whistles missed with this model
I’ve always had great luck with my cannon printers. Past 2 that I’ve had lasted over 8 years each with no issues whatsoever. So I didn’t even consider another make when my most recent one stopped working. I should have researched this particular model better though. This printer which clearly does its intended job well does not possess features I’ve grown use to. There ...

Canon PIXMA TR8620a Wireless Color Inkjet Printer
I've owned this model for about a month. I'm pretty happy with its functioning although I knocked one point due to its sometimes quirkiness.
It was relatively easy to set + connect. That's coming from someone with two left hands.

Great value, fast printing
I bought this printer 6 months or so ago. It replaced my old unmentioned printer and before that I had another Canon. It has worked pretty well, though some of the features are a little iffy. Maybe i'm just slow, but I didn't even know that it HAD a back tray even though it kept bugging me about it, and it wouldn't print anything from the bottom cassette tray. Prints do...
