The Linksys Works Very Well.. WUSB6300 867 Mbps USB Adapter
I inserted this Linksys USB into my PC and had instant WIFI. It's a great product and a great solution at an inexpensive price.

unable to connect
I spent two hours on the phone and on chat and was not able to connect the device to my computer. The telephone was useless I was unable to get my point across. On the chat it was better but after all that they were not able to get the device connected. I returned the device to staples for a refund.

External Wifi
I had problems with my ASUS computer not recognizing the wifi router. This was a great solution but make sure you update the adapter and have direct eithernet or wifi as it was a long process get this to work. Otherwise, it is working great and solved my problem beautifully.

Economic solution to an expensive problem
Recently a client was having problems with her laptop wifi staying connected. It would drop off and then come back on randomly. Updating drivers and operating system didn’t resolve the issue. I purchased this usb unit and turned off the internal wifi unit and haven’t had a problem since.

good but not perfect
This adapter is a good value, it works well but it is a bit glitchy. Also, you have to download the driver for it (it's not plug and play) and the file on the company's website does not contain an executable file. I spent 2 hours on the phone with their support people trying to get this device to work.

Seems to have addressed my concerns so far but when I purchased this computer, I also purchased an all-inclusive warranty to address the concerns that I have experienced, but don't feel I should have to purchase this item to correct problem that they should have taken care of..
