Garbage
Router has poor or no connection to most items in household. When it does connect the connection is unstable. App for adjusting settings crashes and is useless. Cheap router supplied by cable provider worked better.

There are known problems logining to the router, I talked to tech and they are working on problem. It affects this and 2 othermodels of routers.

Annoying at first
After much frustration and research itās a good router. It should be more simple than it is. One problem that irritated more than anything is it was like it forgot what name you gave it and password and would not let any device connect until you power cycled it. But aside from those problems itās a good router. Just make sure to look up the best settings.

I'm torn on this.......whilel the product does its job, I purchased one in 2021 (now 2023, so less than 2 years) and that one failed. So, if the original hadn't failed, I wouldn't have purchased this. It's easy to set up so I was happy with that. Hoping this one lasts a bit longer.

Good for 1G speeds
Not multi-gig capable, unfortunately you have to spend upwards of $600 to acquire a multi gig capable router from NetGear. Iām assuming as fiber and bandwidth requirements inevitably go higher, more multi gig capable routers will hit the market.

DO NOT BUY if you want to link Ring devices
This model will NOT connect with a Ring doorbell or security system. After spending hours trying, and with tech support in both places, each admitted that they were incompatible. I purchased a different model and it worked fine.

Router Upgrade
We selected the AX5400 router to improve the range of our old router which needed replacing as it was starting to intermittently drop its wi-fi signal. The AX5400 cost more than we planned to spend so for that we gave it 4 stars.

A Great product
I made this purchase after my old router died. A friend recommended the Night Hawk and it turns out to be as good as he said it would be. It handles my 5G internet better than I had anticipated. Itās a must buy for those seeking a good product.
