Parker Jotter Pen
This new version of the Parker Pen is not as nice as the previous ones. First it looks cheaper and second the ink started smudging soon after purchase. Still a decent pen but not as good as it used to be.

I had read a raving review of the Parker Jotter extolling its superiority as one of the first (1954!) reasonably priced steps up from generic disposable pens. There were no try-it models in the store but I stepped up selected a medium point (I prefer wide but none were available) paid the nearly $20.00 and took it home. My high school favorite
I have used a Parker "Jotter" ballpoint since middle school in the 1950's and have never regretted it. I keep my Parker in my chest pocket and am never without it. And I know that Parker refills will always be available for this everyday wonder.

Best inexpensive professional pen
You can't go wrong with a Parker Jotter. I usually keep their blue gel refill cartridges because they suit my preferences.

4 Star - I purchased two and one is good the second stinks.
This purchase works well and is comfortable. The second Parker has a Gel cartridge and it is terrible. It will probably be fine when I buy a new cartridge and toss the GEL cartridge out.

I wanted to be impressed with this pen. I had Parker pens before and they were smooth writing and good quality. This one was smaller than expected and did not write smooth at all.

Ink Issues
Is it my imagination or does the ink dry up after just a few months? Refills seem to be hard to keep going. The pens are nice looking and sturdy and worth the investment but I’m having second thoughts about them due to the refills.

Broke on first use.
I used to love these pens many years ago. They are now much cheaper made and definitely not the same quality as in the past. I used the pen once and then it would not retract. Brought it back the same day1
