Eh
It came formatted as exFAT, along with a 200MB EFI partition. To get the extra capacity I had to do a lot more work then I wanted too. Plus they waste time and money adding dumb offers on the drive that also take up a small amount of space.

Didnt come with required cables so i have to make a fifty minute trip to get one. The info was inside the box so i had to open it to find out I can’t use it til i get a cable

Love this little external hard drive! Easy to travel with if necessary and doesn't take up a lot of desk space when connected to a laptop. Cable is long enough to give you some placement options, too.

Ran out of Space
As I was running out of space in the cloud and it seemed a good idea to get my second Seagate external hard drive. The first one was 2 TB and as it was not enough space I bought a 5 TB and hope it will be enough for a while. They are easy to register and to use. They are also physically small enough to take them with me if I so choose.

Died after 5 years
Unfortunately, after 5 year of not that heavy use, it is now dying. Transfer speed is terrible (1 or 2 mb) and not even sustained.

Great for videopgraphers
I keep several of these on hand for video shoots. They are easily storable units that hold a lot of data. I normally have one per year, and I just bought one to help me back up all my old laptops and hard drives.

I bought 2 of these drives. One to act as my time machine backup and the other to hold all of my files. I have a base level Mac Mini with a small hard drive.
