We stuck the light above the shelf over our Postage Meter so that we can see the meter display. Works great!

Worse thing we ever ordered from Staples!!! Normally I am very pleased with everything ordered from Staples, but this was really bad!!
I guess we didn't pay attention to the size of the lights.....we thought they would be much bigger!!
They are so small only a mouse could use them in their house!!!! Sorry!!!

Overated
Not great quality or light. One didn't work right out of the package. The overall size of the lights was smaller than expected and the light provided was minimal. Not worth it.

WAY TOO SMALL!
The lights were not true to size according to the picture that was shown on line. I was really disappointed when I got them. Did not bother to look at the dimensions -- just the picture. That's my fault.

Simple solution for dark closet
This light is exactly what I hoped it would be - easy to install and easy to use. Just be aware that it does take 3 AAA batteries and in a regular sized hall closet you will want at least two of these and possibly more.
