Great fun
Bought for grandson's 3rd birthday. He can put the planets in order from the Sun so absolutely loved this projector. He started with the ceiling then realised he could move the image onto various things. Lots of amusement.

Defective
Doesn't work. Put in brand new AAA batteries, double and triple checked that they were in right but it won't turn on. Very disappointing.

Great fun

I would definitely buy again and highly recommend
This is an amazing projector. The images are very clear and varied. With it being portable, you can carry it around and project the images onto different surfaces and make them small or big. Wonderful space themed product.

Upset 5 year old
My 5 year old saw this in the store and was excited that it showed Saturn on one disc. When putting it out for him to use it had a disc of the moon, one of dinosaurs and one of animals. Needless to say now I have an upset 5 year old.

Excellent way for young ones to understand Space!
My 2-year old knows how to identify Jupiter and Saturn, Mars and Earth... because of this tool she makes better observations that she sees in the sky - like the afternoon moon or entrails that she calls "comets." Because it is light and interactive, she wants to learn how to use it. It definitely needs a helping hand, but it doesn't take long for her to get what to do. ...

Great product
Bought this for my 3 year old and he loves it! He can switch out and maneuver the slides himself and we also use it a night light!

Enjoyed by my 4yo girl
My just-turned-4 year old daughter really enjoys this. She likes looking at a planet as she goes to sleep at night. I like how the timer turns this off automatically so I don't have to go back in to turn it off. It would be nice if there was a way to view like a slideshow, but for a simple product, it works well.

Unique gift for 5 year old
I remember how much fun I had with a projector kind of like this when I was a little girl. It was very hard to find anything similar so I was excited when I saw this and bought it for my little girl for Christmas.

4 stars for the Shining Stars Projector!
My 3 year old daughter just got her own bedroom and we use this to calm her at night and look at the stars together, images are clear and we love laying in her big girl bed and learning new things about the galaxy. I am going to buy one for my nephew, he loves stars and planets.

GREAT PROJECTOR TO START THE LOVE OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM

This is an easy to use educational toy. I do wish the direction book came with more info on the slides so I could walk my kids through all the images better, and more accurately. The pictures are very clear and realistic looking. I would definitely buy more slides.

Loved looking at the stars in the warmth of our home!
We absolutely LOVED this! The kids enjoyed being able to "see" the eclipse and discuss the stars and planets. Wish there were additional slides.
