dvd did not work much at all
dvd remote only worked less than 6 feet then later stopped working at all. inserted disk ran well but could not get disk out until 40 random button pushes do not buy.

S-video!
I make copies of movies I have a what is now a vintage video player/recorder and with the s-video on this box I am able to copy movies from one box to another! This may not be a big deal to you but it's good for me

DVD player has simple setup.
I had this out of the box and playing in minutes! Added bonus--it plays CDs--which I hadn't thought about when I bought it.

great value
the price was so low I didn't have any great expectations for quality was a very pleasant surprise picture quality was awesome plus very user friendly controls.

Very Low Quality
The player arrived undamaged. However it worked erratically and could not be made to play disks known to be good The device appears to be of low quality with too many shortcuts in design and construction. Staples refund policy is appreciated.

BEWARE
I have just recieved this DVD player and it does not Work ! The tray is stuck and will not open. Will only open 1/4 inch. A waste of money and time. I will return it to a local Staples and exchange for a better manufacturer and model. I will never buy GPX products again

DVD/CD Player
This player is compact well made and sleek looking. It was very easy to set up to my flat screen tv. I used shielded RCA cables I had available and the picture and sound quality were excellent in HD.

great player for the value
My other DVD kept skipping or sticking even on new DVD's. You couldn't beat the price of this DVD player. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the remote tends to be a little unresponsive or insensitive when trying to touch buttons to give it commands to pause play etc.

Simple Easy and not Expensive
We recently added an additional TV to our house. At first I didn't think I would need another DVD player - we already have three DVD players but I was quickly proven wrong. The first night my sixteen year-old son turned on the new TV he wanted to watch a DVD movie. The new TV is in the basement which he considers "his" room. unexpected exelent buy
We recently got this DVD and are very happy with the DVD and is one of the few that play's " all regions" NTSC PAL SECAM. Is also very easy and not complicated to use. Great Buy!
