Outstanding Shredder
Well, my old shredder final said no more. The task was to find a replacement micro-cut shredder. There are many on the market and the reviews vary like our New England weather. Hi SS. I'm sorry your shredder is not taking capacity. Please oil the blades of the unit if you have not already done so. All micro-cut shredders require oil for peak performance. If not oiled, a machine may experience diminished sheet capacity, intrusive noise when shredding, and could ultimately stop running. To avoid these problems, we recommend you oil your shredder each time you empty your waste bin. The instructions are found on page three of the user manual. Solid home/office shredder
Satisfied with product function and value. Just stopped working with no obvious reason after 5 years light use. Replaced with same model at my own cost.

Great Machine
For me this machine does everything I need it to do. The only thing that is a minor issue is emptying the cuttings. If there were some sort of a handle on the bottom of the tray that holds all the cuttings it would make it easier to empty and mostly avoid any mess made while disposing of all the cuttings.

Great Value for the Price Fellows is Great!
I replaced my Fellows Crosscut Shredder after roughly 18 years. The old shredder finally wore out but still works. I'm keeping it as a CD Shredder. In today's world, I felt a "micro-Shredder was warranted. I purchased the Fellows 62MC and love it! It's 60% quieter and does the job quickly. Just perfect for my Home Office use.

So far, so good.
I shred everything from bank statements to junk mail - anything with a name on it - so any would-be dumpster divers won't get anything useful from my trash. Looks like a great shredder
Just received it yesterday. So far it handled 8 pages with no problems. Much heavier and quieter than the old shredder it replaced. Appears to be well built and I expect it to last quite a while. So far I am very pleased with this unit.

This shredder shreds great but only lasts about 5 or 6 minutes without stopping. The ability of the shredder to shred important documents is worth the wait time.

A Believer
This is my second Fellowes shredder. The first one lasted 15 plus years and I truly abused it. I'm hoping this one also lasts a long time. The new one is ultra quiet compared to the other. The micro-cut pieces are like confetti. No one is putting them back together.

so easy to use!
A friend recommended this to me as she loved hers. I love being able to roll my shredder around my home office and the ease of emptying it into a clear plastic bag for recycling. I can do a lot more shredding with this model than the old one I had.

great shredder
just got my Fellowes 62MC and started shredding a pile of papers I had saved up. My old shredder worked, but not fast and not as compact as this one. great purchase! Like the safety lock and it is not loud at all.
