A design problem
I'm a long time customer for the Pentel mech pencils...at least 20 years...I bought this 6 pack w no concerns...big mistake...altho extra leads are provided, they cannot be readily loaded into the cavity...so this becomes a single lead device...unacceptable...

Finally, a mechanical pencil that actually works
This mechanical pencil actually works like it is supposed to; unlike others that just stop working, or the lead gets stuck and I have to throw the pencil in the trash. I think Staples has finally sold a mechanical pencil that does not require a mechanical engineering degree to operate!!!

My favorite pencil
I am am a landscape designer and I use these pencils for my professional work. I love that the button to advance the lead is right there under my thumb. I don’t have to change my grip to advance the lead.

Nice .7mm Mechanical Pencils
Nice .7mm mechanical pencils. They work well and have big erasures. Use them for scribbling notes in my advanced math books, and sometimes to erase too. The lead writes dark and erases well. Very pleased w/ these.

Best mechanical pencils
I love these because of the button/click to advance the pencil. Most mechanical pencils you push the top/eraser down to advance the pencil lead. If you need to use the eraser, you wind up pushing out too much pencil. These Pentel pencils separate those functions. Also, the erasers are huge, and you can twist up to get more eraser.
