no-photo blue pencils.
I love the pencils and use the exclusively to underline in my books. I love books, but I also like to be able to find outstanding statements, etc and mark them in the books. The pencil is very light colored and very non-offensive when rereading the books, you hardly know there are underlines. They also will not show when pages are copied.

Blue Pencils
Color was much too faint/light for my purposes. Needed for notations in an appt. book. Hard to even see what you wrote.

Erasable Photo Blue Pencil
Love it. Also that it does not copy, especially when I write on an original of something. For me and my job it works wonderfully.

.com-erase photo blue pencil
Really light blue pencil that is great for drafting first marks for drawing. Sometimes in certain lights, it can be hard to see for a read of poor lighting or too bright light. The blue color is erasable. Still very useful.

Non Photo Blue pencils
I got these because I heard they were good to draw comics with. You draw your sketch with them and then ink over it. The blue line doesn't show up when you xerox the page. They are light on the paper and truly work and make the final drawing easier. I had GREAT HELP finding them from the friendly Staples associate!!

The color labeled on the product
I sought a shade called "non-photo blue." Buyers should note that molded into the side of the pencil itself, where the color is usually molded in, the phrase "Copy not NP Blue" is given as the color. I don't know the significance of "copy blue" versus "non-photocopy blue," but to users who do, it may be relevant.

I love this pencil!
I don't know what the 2 guys that posted above me use these pencils for but I have to disagree with them in this being a bad product. I use this particular pencil to do rough line art for comics & they work wonderfully for me. Okay, so the lead is a bit bit waxy & it is a tad light but, most of the other no photo pencils I've used either cost too much or smudge too much...
