What is an Air Purifier?
Air purifiers are appliances designed to cleanse the air in an enclosed space. They achieve this by targeting unpleasant odors or irritants and then eliminating them. These include things like smoke, dust, pet dander, trash and cooking smells, chemical vapors, organic compounds, other allergens and bacteria. Air purifiers can also be used to remove odors in an area by eliminating the particles that cause the unpleasant smells. They are especially effective in places affected by pollution.
Office air purifiers are a great choice for workplaces because businesses typically have a lot of people working in the same space. As a result, there’s much more traffic and increased opportunities for allergens or bad smells to penetrate the air. How Do Air Purifiers Work?
Air purifiers usually consist of one or multiple filters, and a fan that sucks in and circulates the air. As air moves through the filter, pollutants and particles are trapped and clean air is allowed to pass through into the living space. Typically, filters are made of paper, fiber (often fiberglass) or mesh, and require regular replacement to maintain their efficiency. The cadence in which you should order replacement air filters is based on the air purifier’s usage and how polluted the area they are meant to clean is. That said, a good rule of thumb is to change it every few weeks.

What is the Ideal Placement for an Air Purifier?
