Liquitex Soluvar Final Picture Varnish Gloss 8 Oz. Bottle (6008)

This is an archival, removable varnish that protects oil and acrylic paintings and allows for the removal of dirt without damaging the painting underneath. When applied as a final varnish it dries to a clear, non-tacky, water resistant, and hard film that prevents dirt and pollutants from contacting the painting surface. Soluvar Varnish is self-leveling and will not hold brush strokes. It-s flexible, so it won-t crack from temperature and humidity changes, and it-s also resistant to discoloration. Soluvar Varnish is available as a liquid in 8 oz. and 32 oz. bottles, and as an aerosol in 13 1/2 oz. spray cans. It's also available in both gloss and matte finishes.
