Comments about Porelon Okidata Microline 420/490 Nylon Printer Ribbon:
I use this printer 3-4 days a week to print checks. The ink smears on initial use but if you are printing 6 or more checks at a time, the smearing goes away. I would recommend using Staples #508878 which is Okidata brand ribbon for the 490 microline printer. I am sending the extra ribbons I ordered back, and replacing them with the Okidata brand ribbon.
